ILE-IFE, OSUN STATE
The name of the radio station came into existence
in 2003, one of the two radio station owned by OSBC (OSUN STATE BROADCASTING
COMPANY).it is located at ile-ife which is the cradle source of Yoruba heritage.
It is a specialized 100% Yoruba transmitting station.
The station is chaired by specialist in field
from the old OSBC, people like John A.Fademi; Kayode Ajibade, Sanya Adegbayibi
and so on. The station has been supported financially by government
intervention, both federal and state government.

OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY (ILE-IFE)
OSUN STATE
This is a mini terrestrial broadcasting
organization, it is funded by the senate of OAU, it is a training station just
like the Unilag FM, its range broadcast only Ife, the name “GREAT FM” was
coined from the OAU student slogan ‘GREAT IFE’. Great FM is controlled or
dominated by the ‘MASS COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT’.
Their presence is not far felt outside communities
but the school because they broadcast only the affairs going on in the
institution and few foreign affairs.

Ilesha OSUN STATE
Gold FM came into existence as the external
service to Nigeria since 1961, it is located at iloko road off new Ilesha-Akure
expressway.
It’s a branch of radio Nigeria in Osun state and
the general manager is Suleiman Ibrahim dasin . Their slogan is ‘radio Nigeria
– uplifting the people and uniting the nation’.

spring FM is one of the two stations run by OSBC. It is situatedat Ile-Awuye,
Oke Baale, osun state, their slogan is ‘Radio1
station of our time’, it is also incorporated with NBC and broadcasts in
English language, while the second station of OSBC broadcasts in Yoruba
language.

FM is more or less a small station situated at Ejigbo Local Govt., Ejigbo being
one of the ancestral heritage of Yoruba-land, the station is popularly called ‘voice of Ejigbo’. Though their presence
on-line was hardly felt, they have no website and no social media. Although
from other human source the station is said to be 100% Yoruba speaking and a
private station in collaboration with the local govt. the owner still remain unknown to us.

FM is a branch of Radio Nigeria under the FRCN in Ibadan, it is located in
broadcasting house,Oba Adebinpe road Dugbe,Ibadan,Nigeria.It is also a public
service broadcast in English by the Ibadan arm of the federal radio corporation
of Nigeria, there slogan is “Uplifting the people and Uniting the nation”.
